Like many TS reps, they work off of scripts and situational flow charts. I bugged them for a few days before I realized that the TS reps were incapable of rational thought. Why should it matter if I initiated the process through Steam or Bethesda. If I buy the game through Bethesda, I'm prompted to buy the game through Steam. When I went through the process that is described in the link, the Creation kit doesn't exist.īethesda "Tech Support" said that I needed to buy the game, again, through Bethesda. Since I didn't initially start my purchase through the Bethesda site, it appears that they don't recognize that I previously purchased the game through Steam.
Without the creation kit, I don't really like the game very much. The main thing that I liked about SKYRIM was the freedom of using the CREATION kit. I'm going to do a little soul searching and decide what to do next. I have a great game, but I can't even mod the damn thing unless I delete the damn title and buy it again through steam via the Bethesda website. I can't even reach out and TALK to anyone at Bethesda. I can't even articulate how PISSED OFF I am right now.
